Quill Net 30 Account — What It Actually Reports
Quill shows up on nearly every net-30 list, usually as reporting to both D&B and Experian, automatically. Neither is true. Here is what Quill’s credit department told us, and what to pair it with.
What Quill actually reports
Quill is a large office-supply retailer with a free net-30 account. What makes it relevant to business credit is its Trade Exchange Program — and the details are where most lists go wrong:
- Dun & Bradstreet only. Not Experian. Not Equifax.
- Opt-in. If you do not enroll in the Trade Exchange Program, nothing is furnished at all, no matter how well you pay.
- $100 initial cart, and invoices over $50 are the ones reported.
- $0 annual fee.
Verified by phone with Quill’s credit department, July 24, 2026 (Nav). Listed in our vendor directory, last reviewed August 25, 2026.

Different bureaus again. Quill builds a PAYDEX; we build an Experian file. Plenty of businesses use both.
What to pair with Quill, or use instead
You want D&B without the enrollment step
Uline covers D&B and Experian, with no fee and no minimum.
You want Experian Business
Quill will never help here.
You want Equifax Business
If you already use Quill and never enrolled in the Trade Exchange Program, your Quill history has not been reported. Call Quill and ask.
What none of these vendors can promise you
Whichever vendor you choose, including us: a vendor controls what it submits. The bureau controls what posts to your file, and what any score derived from it looks like. Nobody can promise you a score, a PAYDEX figure, a dollar amount of funding, a timeline, or an approval.
What a vendor can honestly tell you is its own process. Ours: we submit new accounts weekly and existing accounts monthly, to Experian Business. The full list of our limits is on what we can’t promise.
Common questions
Does Quill report to business credit bureaus?
Yes, but only to Dun & Bradstreet, and only if you enroll in Quill’s Trade Exchange Program. Without enrollment nothing is reported. This was confirmed by phone with Quill’s credit department on July 24, 2026.
Does Quill report to Experian?
No. Quill reports to D&B only. Many lists say Quill reports to Experian; that is the most commonly repeated error in this category.
What does Quill require for net 30 reporting?
A $100 initial cart and enrollment in the Trade Exchange Program. Invoices over $50 are reported. There is no annual fee.
What is a good alternative to Quill?
If you want D&B, Uline has no fee and no minimum and reports to both D&B and Experian (confirmed by phone, July 2026). If you want Experian Business specifically, Peak Discounters reports there.
Can Quill or anyone guarantee a PAYDEX score?
No. A vendor controls what it submits; D&B controls what posts and any PAYDEX score calculated from it.

Quill for D&B. Us for Experian.
$49 a year, refunded in full if we don’t approve you, and credited back once your orders total $250 — on supplies you were buying anyway. It renews automatically each year at the then-current annual fee unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment history furnished to Experian Business. No minimum purchase or activity requirement for reporting.
