Does Amazon offer net 30?

What Amazon’s own pages say about paying on invoice terms — and what they don’t say about building business credit.

The short answer

Net 30, by invitation after Amazon reviews your account

Program: Amazon Business Credit Account (Pay by Invoice)

Standard 30-day payment terms on invoices, no interest or fees when paid on time. Business Prime Small and Medium plans get 45-day terms; Enterprise gets 60-day terms, upon approval. Credit limit not published.

Amazon describes the terms as a line of credit issued by Amazon. Do not confuse with the Amazon Business credit cards, which are separate revolving cards.

How to get it

Register a free Amazon Business account. Amazon assesses the account; if eligible, the account administrator gets a notice to activate the purchasing line. Invitation-based and subject to credit approval. No public application form.

Amazon’s own page

Does it build business credit?

Amazon doesn’t publish which business credit bureaus, if any, it reports to. Any list that names specific bureaus for Amazon is repeating something the company itself hasn’t stated.

If building business credit is your reason for opening the account, ask Amazon’s credit department in writing which bureaus receive your payment history — or use a vendor that publishes it. Our vendor directory lists who reports where, with dates.

What net-30 lists say

Net-30 lists often present Amazon as an open net-30 account anyone can apply for; Amazon's own page says it is offered only to eligible accounts after review, so that overstates access.
