Does Sysco offer net 30?

What Sysco’s own pages say about paying on invoice terms — and what they don’t say about building business credit.

The short answer

Credit terms by application; days not published

Program: Sysco customer credit application (account credit terms)

Approved customers get credit terms emailed about 24 hours after submitting the credit application. Sysco's help pages do not publish the number of days (e.g. net 30). Payment is by check, card, or ACH through Sysco Pay.

A foodservice distributor account, not a general-purpose net-30 tradeline. Does not deliver to residential addresses. Prospects can pay by card before terms are issued. No official statement on bureau reporting.

How to get it

Commercial businesses only (EIN and commercial delivery address required). Submit the Become A Customer form; a Sysco associate then emails a credit application with company info, optional trade/bank references, personal guarantor and tax sections.

Personal guarantee: The credit application has a Personal Guarantor section, and saving it triggers a credit check. Sysco's help article says you can select 'No' if you don't want a personal guarantor; it does not say how that affects approval.

Sysco’s own page

Does it build business credit?

Sysco doesn’t publish which business credit bureaus, if any, it reports to. Any list that names specific bureaus for Sysco is repeating something the company itself hasn’t stated.

If building business credit is your reason for opening the account, ask Sysco’s credit department in writing which bureaus receive your payment history — or use a vendor that publishes it. Our vendor directory lists who reports where, with dates.

What net-30 lists say

Third-party payment blogs say Sysco has no single published term schedule and terms depend on credit review; that matches Sysco's own pages, which publish no day count.
