Does Ferguson offer net 30?
What Ferguson’s own pages say about paying on invoice terms — and what they don’t say about building business credit.
The short answer
Program: Ferguson Business Credit (also Facilities Supply credit)
Ferguson's terms of sale say 'Net 10th Prox' from the invoice date. This usually means due by the 10th of the following month, not a fixed 30 days. Past-due amounts accrue a service charge of up to 1.5% per month.
How to get it
Apply online; Ferguson says it takes about 10 minutes and runs through Bectran. All applicants are subject to credit approval. Facilities customers have a separate Facilities credit application.
Does it build business credit?
Ferguson doesn’t publish which business credit bureaus, if any, it reports to. Any list that names specific bureaus for Ferguson is repeating something the company itself hasn’t stated.
If building business credit is your reason for opening the account, ask Ferguson’s credit department in writing which bureaus receive your payment history — or use a vendor that publishes it. Our vendor directory lists who reports where, with dates.
