Does Staples offer net 30?

What Staples’s own pages say about paying on invoice terms — and what they don’t say about building business credit.

The short answer

Invoicing for qualified Staples Advantage customers only

Program: Staples Advantage invoicing

Staples says invoicing is available to qualified customers through StaplesAdvantage.com. Term length, limits and fees are not published.

The Staples credit card (Business More Account, issued by Citibank, N.A.) closed on 7/31/23. Any list recommending it is out of date. Invoicing is only for qualified Staples Advantage customers, not an open net-30 application.

How to get it

Contact Staples Advantage (support@staplesadvantage.com or the phone line on Staples' credit page) to ask about invoicing. Qualification criteria are not published.

Staples’s own page

Does it build business credit?

Staples doesn’t publish which business credit bureaus, if any, it reports to. Any list that names specific bureaus for Staples is repeating something the company itself hasn’t stated.

If building business credit is your reason for opening the account, ask Staples’s credit department in writing which bureaus receive your payment history — or use a vendor that publishes it. Our vendor directory lists who reports where, with dates.

What net-30 lists say

Many net-30 lists still name Staples as a net-30 vendor or recommend its store credit card; Staples' own page says the Citi-issued Staples credit card accounts closed on 7/31/23.
