Missed it? What happens, and how to fix it

If a filing is missed

The entity is deemed delinquent on the second day of the month after its due date. If the report is not filed within 60 days after the due date, the entity is administratively dissolved. No separate late fee is listed.

Getting back in good standing

Reinstatement — state fee $100 (tax reinstatement), plus past-due reports and license taxes; $350 LLC / $250 corporation if dissolved for no registered agent. Wyoming law does not allow reinstatement after two years in administratively dissolved standing. Entities within two years and with no other delinquencies can reinstate online.

Why lenders check this before anyone reads your application

An automated know-your-business check compares what you put on an application against the state’s record. A status that isn’t active and in good standing, or a legal name that differs from your filing by a comma or a suffix, is a common silent reason for a decline.

Fixing your status costs nothing beyond the state’s own fees; you don’t need to pay anyone to do it for you.
